The Garrun Group makes a big difference to pupils graduating from Nomzamo Daycare Centre in Alexandra.
Principal and founder Roselinah Cubeni started Nomzamo roughly 19 years ago, the day care centre is situated in two shack structures on London Road, the main road through Alexandra township.
There are over 60 children with a few of them paying a nominal amount per month, which covers day care, teaching, two meals per day and snacks. The children start arriving from 06h30 and leave at 17h30 and the centre operates Monday to Friday, throughout the year, closing for the Christmas holiday period only. There are 4 care-givers caring for the children.
The Garrun Group made a generous donation that was put towards a graduation ceremony and party for the pupils of Nomzamo Daycare Centre. The kids enjoyed a fun day filled with face painting, a clown, jumping castle and balloon artist.
